Located in the heart of the Upper Delaware River Valley, a decommissioned grade school gets a second life thanks to some intrepid new owners.  With the goal of reducing the building's overall energy consumption, a core component of this project has been developing a step-by-step energy retrofit plan, to be integrated at each stage of reprogramming and renovation.  In the 4+ years since project conception, this ever-evolving 30,000 square foot space has been redeveloped into a multi-use facility meant to serve to community, offering office and co-working spaces, event space, retail storefronts, higher education classrooms, a commercial kitchen, and light industry manufacturing spaces.
